The latest version of mobile taxi app Taxophone 16 has just hit the market

Mobile taxi app TaxoPhone 16 has leveled up, boasting over 25 new features and improvements, including an additional payment method for orders and the ability to negotiate fares. This version provides taxi company managers with fresh tools to streamline operations and attract customers, while offering users a wider array of options and improved interface.

To access all the new features of TaxoPhone 16, you'll need to update both Taxi-Master and TMDriver to version 3.14. You can request updates through your personal managers at gsk@bitmaster.ru.

Version 16 introduces fare bidding feature, allowing customers to set trip prices and negotiate with drivers. This feature will help the taxi company retain users who refuse rides due to high fares or are unwilling to wait long for a car during rush hour and bad weather. Thus, the first category of passengers will have the chance to set a comfortable order price and save a little, while the second can increase the price and reduce the waiting time.

Fare bidding can operate concurrently with standard fares. This allows the company to offer two pricing schemes within a single tariff, setting them apart from competitors. Users value having options to choose from.

Using this new feature is a breeze: clients simply tap on the tariff marked with a hammer icon, and enter their desired price. From there, drivers respond with offers, which passengers can accept or reject. If a bid goes unanswered, passengers can adjust the price without interrupting the search.

Drivers receive such orders automatically - a notification will be sent to those nearby the pick-up address. Meanwhile, others can check out the offers in the "Bids" section. Drivers then have a limited time to accept the customer's price or propose a counteroffer. Should the customer reject the offer, negotiating can continue with revised bids.

Promo code saving and new features

We've improved the promo code saving mechanism and introduced new tools for their distribution. Now, users won't lose their bonuses even if they reinstall the app, making it seamless for taxi companies to boost passenger loyalty and encourage them to try new rides.

Companies can now create promo codes tailored to specific groups, rewarding their most loyal customers. The system can automatically categorize users who have completed 20 or more trips per month, ensuring they receive a special bonus. These users will receive a personalized notification expressing gratitude and offering a tailored promotion, encouraging them to remain loyal and continue using the company's services.

Moreover, our event system simplifies customer communication by automatically sending messages with promo codes. This saves companies time previously spent manually sending bonuses through directories.

Customized news and promotions

The latest app update opens up new avenues for delivering personalized offers directly to your customers. Now, when crafting a news piece or promotion, you have the ability to target not only specific user groups but also individuals based on unique attributes.

These attributes, hidden from user view, could include criteria such as the number of trips a customer has completed within a month. This becomes particularly useful for notifying users about exclusive opportunities, such as a prize draw for passengers who've made 30 or more bookings. Only those who meet the criteria will receive a tailored message outlining the promotion's details. This approach ensures targeted customers feel valued and special, part of an exclusive group with the chance to win enticing rewards. That implies they'll keep on actively using your services.

Share trip details

Customers can now share trip details with family or friends directly from the app's "On the road" screen by using "Share" button. This feature is incredibly handy for passengers heading to unfamiliar destinations or when arranging a taxi ride for a child. The recipient of the trip details link can track the journey in real time on a map, ensuring they know exactly when to meet the passenger.

Now, the order screen will clearly display both free and paid waiting times. The free waiting period is shown as a countdown timer, while paid waiting is displayed alongside its per-minute cost. This transparency helps passengers time their pickup perfectly and understand how their fare is calculated, reducing potential disputes with the taxi company.

We've fine-tuned our address search capability in the Taxi-Master app by introducing a radius input feature. This update significantly enhances the precision of address searches, filtering out irrelevant options more effectively. It's a game-changer, particularly for businesses operating across multiple regions, eliminating the mix-ups of assigning drivers to similar addresses in different cities.

We've introduced the ability to customize crew group names and attributes for each language supported in the app. This means no more juggling to find universal names that work across languages. Simply head to the "Crew Groups" and "Attributes" sections to set appropriate equivalents for each language. The main screen now includes an approximate travel time feature when planning a route. This estimation is calculated based on the settings in Taxi-Master, giving users insight into the expected duration of their trip. With this information available, users can better plan their day and make informed travel decisions.

We've introduced a new button in the completed order card that allows users to contact the driver directly. You can find this option in the "More" tab. This feature comes in handy for customers who may have forgotten items in the vehicle. Users can now reach out to the driver directly to report any issues or retrieve their belongings. This option can be customized for each group of drivers, allowing administrators to set specific time limits for passenger-driver communication.

We've implemented a new feature that allows users to view the pick-up address directly on the screen while entering details such as entrance, apartment, and comments. This enhancement ensures that users have clarity about the specific location they are providing data for, reducing any confusion. Additionally, it enables users to quickly proceed with updating the pick-up location if needed.

We've changed the process of attaching multiple photos for ride reviews on Android devices. Now, users no longer need to press and hold one image for an extended period. Instead, they can simply navigate to the photo attachment screen and select the desired elements.

* Refreshed the style of dialogue boxes that appear within the application for user notifications.
