The latest version of taxi driver app TMDriver 3.14 has just been launched

We've given our driver app a thorough update. This fresh version of taxi driver app TMDriver 3.14 boasts over 25 enhancements, including the much-anticipated fare bidding feature and a comprehensive dashboard with driver earnings statistics. These new additions, coupled with redesigned elements, make navigating and operating within the app smoother and more efficient for drivers.

While the new version is already accessible through personal builds, the general version is currently undergoing open beta testing on Google Play. Once the beta phase concludes successfully, the app will be updated to the latest version.

To ensure seamless functionality of the new features, we strongly recommend upgrading Taxi Master to version 3.14.

Fare bidding

In this latest version, drivers can now accept orders through a fare bidding feature, facilitating direct price negotiation between driver and customer. Drivers have the autonomy to set their preferred price for order fulfillment. Such orders are received automatically — a notification will be sent to those nearby the pick-up address. Meanwhile, others can check out the offers in the "Bids" section. Drivers then have a limited time to accept the customer's price or propose a counteroffer. Should the customer reject the offer, negotiating can continue with revised bids.

By seamlessly integrating the fare bidding feature with the existing fare system, we empower drivers to operate on their terms, fostering driver satisfaction and retention, crucial for expansion into new cities and understanding regional trip pricing dynamics.

We have redesigned the order card and section navigation to enhance driver comprehension within the app. This update ensures even greater ease in navigating and managing orders.

Within the order card, we have segregated primary and auxiliary buttons to streamline order management. A new slider-based button facilitates main actions, reducing the likelihood of inadvertent changes to orders. Additionally, a block of auxiliary buttons facilitates supplementary actions such as accessing navigation, contacting dispatch, or canceling orders.

We've enhanced screen navigation, providing drivers with clearer indications of their current section and tab. Additionally, we've refined order transition navigation, enabling drivers to swiftly return to their current order from the main screen.

Special prompts have been added to prevent confusion between previously confirmed orders and new ones, reducing accidental rejection rates and minimizing delays in assigning orders to drivers.

In version 3.14, we've revamped and added new functionality to the general menu, prioritizing essential information such as ratings, balance, priority, and earnings at the top, while relegating less critical information to the bottom.

Driver profile

Drivers now have the option to upload their photo, enabling dispatchers to select the most appropriate one. This photo is then visible to passengers within the app, enhancing trust in your taxi company.

Additionally, the ability to change or delete an account has been incorporated to comply with app stores requirements.

The status selection block has been relocated to the main menu, offering streamlined access to options such as starting or ending shifts, setting statuses like "On Lunch" or "Repair," and resuming work.

All essential driver information is now conveniently accessible on a single screen.

The dashboard includes details such as:

- Number of successful orders
- Total order count
- Net earnings
- Company or partner commission
- Distance covered during orders
- Time spent on orders
- Number of refusals

This comprehensive overview enables drivers to easily track their order history and earnings, fostering greater trust in your taxi company and providing motivation for drivers.

The addition of a "Car" section in the general menu enables drivers to upload car photos, aiding passenger identification. Moreover, drivers with multiple vehicles can select the appropriate one within the app, while features like "Car Booking" and "Booking Schedule" cater to those renting vehicles

Automatic photo upload to the taxi-master directory

Driver and car photos for inspection are now automatically uploaded to Taxi-Master directories, streamlining the dispatch process and saving time.

Trip ticket verification and download

To initiate a shift, drivers must possess an approved trip ticket. Upon attempting to start a shift, Taxi-Master conducts a validation check. In case of an incomplete trip ticket, a system notification is dispatched to the application. The finalized trip ticket can then be downloaded from the general menu.

We have revamped the navigation for autodistribution and order filters. The activation of filters is now centralized in the general menu, streamlining the process of creating, editing, and deleting filters. For instance, drivers can now easily filter out orders paid by bank cards or bonuses if they prefer not to work with such orders.

Partner selection and new attribute options

We've introduced new screens and attribute options to enhance the candidate profile. Drivers can now specify the partner's vehicle fleet they intend to join on a dedicated screen. The addition of new driver and vehicle attributes enables the creation of a flexible and detailed profile tailored to your taxi company's needs.

The "Photo Inspection" section now offers various viewpoints, each represented by distinct icons. This allows drivers to easily identify which photo to upload. Dispatchers have the option to configure the display of preferred viewpoints.

Evaluating clients is now more straightforward. With this function enabled in the settings, drivers can rate passengers immediately after completing a trip.

We've redesigned the window for selecting cancellation reasons, making it more user-friendly. Now, drivers can simply choose from the provided options to indicate their reasons for refusal.

Availability of "on spot" and "end trip" buttons based on vehicle speed

The "On Spot" and "End Trip" buttons will now be accessible when the driver reduces their speed to the specified value. This prevents premature status changes of the order until the driver reaches the destination.

Customer communication via order archive

A customer contact button can now be configured within the order archive. This allows drivers to contact passengers, for instance, in cases of forgotten items in the car. The availability duration of this button is configurable within Taxi-Master.
